garage sale

last weekend i had a garage sale with my best friend ali. it was mainly a garage sale for me honestly. last summer ali moved to brooklyn and in the process really eliminated her belongings, which it was i really need to do. so most of this stuff you see here is mine. and can you believe i still have tons more at home!? and tons more to sell on my shop? i really am a bit of a hoarder.
im moving into my boyfriends place next month so i really need to get rid of some of this stuff. the sale went pretty well. i would really love to have another one of two in september. and then after that im just gonna be donating the stuff i suppose. i have problems with getting rid of things sometimes. maybe ill even sell some things in my shop as a lot or something. real cheap! i just want this stuff gone!
if anyone of you readers lives in the long island area, please let me know! i would love to invite all to my next sale. and im selling things cheap! i sold dresses for around $3, blouses and skirts $2. shoes from $2 to $5. and basically everything else was about a dollar. like i said, i just want to get rid of these things!
early morning ali
welcome!

Garage sales are one American tradition that I wish we'd imitate more in Europe.

This is the sort of garage sale that I always venture out to find, but never do...

i know! thats what i wanted mine to be. one i would love to go to, to attract people like me. we only got one girl even mildly into fashion when we were closing up. everyone else was old ha. i wish i lived in a better area for trying to have a "young hip garage sale"

I would love to go to a sale like this! Normally you have to fish through junk piles to find good stuff. Also, the curiosity bottles are so cool, it would be neat make your own maybe...
