Photobucket

My beautiful friend Ali Scarpulla has a new line of prints out for sale, a limited edition of 50 packages only. She has come out with some new Metallic prints that show her work more beautifully than ever before. In the words of the photographer herself:

"My new METALLIC prints look better than any print I have ever made before. They GLOW, POP & SHINE in the light, like they are almost 3 dimensional. They're something that you just have to see for yourself. I am finally, truly satisfied with the quality & beauty of my prints, and I want you to enjoy them too!"

Ali is having a Metallic Print Pre-Sale of four 4x6 images of your choice for $28. This is a limited edition sale so there are only 50 packages available. Don't miss your chance to own some of her fantastical images in their best quality yet! You can browse the choices here at her Facebook page, and make your purchase here at her Etsy shop, just include the number that goes along with each image.

But because we love you all so much, we are also doing a little giveaway of the 5 images I chose below! All you have to do is leave a comment with your Email telling us something beautiful you plan for the year 2013. There is a wonderful static energy in the air I think we are all feeling as 2012 comes to a close, and we want to feel how inspired you are by it!

The giveaway ends on the last day of 2012, one reader will be chosen to receive ALL 5 PRINTS. We will be choosing not at random, but based on your answer. So don't be scared, get creative and inspired and tell us what you feel and what's really moving you!!

These are just so beautiful!

I feel 2013 is going to be a special year in my life, not least because I turn 23 on the 23rd of June. I finish collage in May and after three years of writing essays I am so looking forward to getting creative again; writing for fun, dressing up and seeing the world. I want to watch the Northern lights, visit New York City again and just live life in the moment.

Most resolutions have something to do with self improvement, and mine are no different. I'm turning 20 next year and 2012 has been great but I feel it's time to grow up. My relationship with my parents has never been better, I continue to seek fulfillment in volunteer work and make lasting friendships as opposed to fleeting ones based on where I live and things we have in common. I might not be close to finding my true purpose in life yet, but in 2013 I'd like to make everyone I encounter feel loved and important, protest more, sign more petitions and sign up for things that might scare me at first.

Maya people in Belize believe that the soul and the body is one thing, that all outside is the same as inside, so all the change from the end to the new beginning depends on us. And I have to understand that what I feel, what I think, what I say and what I do will be one thing. And I have to think only in a positively way! This is my goal for this beautiful 2013.

I wish I could meet someone who feels like home. Someone who will open my eyes to things I’ve always wanted to see, someone who accepts for who I am, someone I can collapse into. I wish I could meet someone who can help me breathe. It doesn't have to be a lover, just, someone. Someone new.

What i hope to achieve in 2013 is to get my happiness and creativity back, 2012 was a pretty rough year for me and i didn't deal with it so well, i stopped doing everything that made me happy because i was so stressed, but this year i'm trying my best to get back to a 'normal' happy life by starting to write short novels, painting and drawing again.

My wish is that a change of mind happens. Money is eating up everyone's lives and we need to choose a more spiritual path in order to grow and evolve.

My goal for 2013 is to finally open my very own etsy shop to share the beautiful vintage clothing that I've been hoarding in my closet. This is something I've wanted to do for 2+ years and in 2013 ill be making it happen... I've already started photographing items :-)

This year I've changed so much. Especially spiritually. I have found more peace in my life like never before. Also, I finally dedicated my life to my biggest dream - creating art. Next year is going to be something special for me. Day by day I improve at drawing what I feel is right, creating new ideas, taking photographs.
The most important thing in 2013 will be that I'll give all my energy to believe in myself. After that everything goes easier: creativity, personal and social life. And I will feel better being myself day by day.

Thank you for this opportunity to take a part of this giveaway and realize what my future goal is.

After a long personal struggle about what to do with my future, I finally decided against university to pursue traveling. I've been doing it for awhile now and it's been amazing thus far. In 2013 I plan to continue traveling, taking in those experiences entirely, loving the people who make me happy and try to strengthen each of my relationships, continue photographing, and never least, learn, learn, learn.

Your photos are amazing, and I think it's incredible that you're doing a giveaway! It's quite selfless, especially this time of year.

i've had an awlful year in 2011 and 2012 was better, especially since i decided to change things about my life. i just hope to keep moving on in 2013, i want to stop wondering "what if i did this or that" and just doing it, because after all, sometimes what is the hardest is simply making decisions. i take photographs too and another thing i am dreaming of doing is having the guts to apply for a photography school and, if i am good enough, getting in.

i wish you all happy holidays and thank you so much for this generous giveaway.

much love from france

In 2013 I plan to get my life back on track. As of tomorrow I will no longer be a teenager and the time is also coming for me to apply for my major within my college of art and design. I feel like I finally have a goal in sight and I just know that this year will be a year of growth and learning. I'm anxious and excited and I can only hope that 2013 will treat me and all of you well.

Happy new year

There's one thing I consider to be very important, it's to find, create and embody symbols when you are an artist. This year was my hardest journey through my lazyness, unconfidence and loose of marker, because from deep inside of me, I didn't knew what i wanted to do, even if i wasn't completely despair.
So thank you girls being strong and beautiful, reading and watching all your stuff give me energy, you both give insurance with your art.
Next year is about to be a kind of renaissance, I have so many ideas, feelings I'll spread the world ! And make everything change change change.

Lately i've been breathing from a broken lounge and talking fromt this lounge which my tounge won't follow. Hopefully will 2013 melt into no year creating a timezone for me, where my anxiety won't be any dictator. If i could get paralyzed by anything where I still could sense would I see changes in veins.

Generally, my new year wish is something like this: study harder to get a satisfied result in the exam. But this time, I think the result doesn't be the important in my school life anymore. It is horrible when you put all your effort in the books and homework! You never know what the world are and not care to loved ones, families and my friends. So, I've get myself cool down and think what's the things that I really enjoy and what I want to be. And now I would like to challenge anything, and I do have confidence. I'm excited to make my dreams come true in 2013! Good luck everyone <3

For the year 2013, I'd like to try and concentrate on self purness and oneness of thy inner spirit. I want to spend more time in nature and remote areas where the pure energy is natural. I'd like to find ways to connect closer with my spirit and the energies surrounding me daily. I don't want to focus on, making a better "name" or "title" or "profession" of myself. I want to give all I can to the world I live within. It needs me and I need it. Not to put stress on my mind, due to the distractions media may bring to me. Myself, as an artist, a human being, a spirit, a energy, all, I want to be at one with it all and let the enery show thru my work. I recently became aware of this engaging photography by purchasing a Wolves in the throne room cd. Absolute connection instantly, and I want to thankyou for inspiring me for new ideas with my camera, soul, mind, and energy..for the year 2013. Much love. Mary Seay.

my goal for 2013 is a simple one - I'm going to be happy. it's an easy thing to say, but that much harder to do. I've battled depression for many, many years, but this year I'm going to devote all my time and energy to becoming the person I'm supposed to be. a happier me. I deserve it and the people around me deserve it. no more hurting me or my family.
