Edwardian

Photobucket

Taking a little break from the 60s school girl knee sock vibes I'v had going on these last few weeks, I was inspired by an amazing movie you all should watch.. and don't you worry, it's on netflix instant ;) Last night I went to hang out at The Metz's, who are finally both back in town after much traveling over the summer. We watched episodes of paranormal witness and then Hannah's favorite movie Willow all while drinking Tecates with hot sauce and lime juice (the only way one of those suckers should be had) and then ended the night with the movie I'm talking about, House of Pleasures. It is a beautiful and sad film about the ladies of a parisian brothel at the turn of the 20th century. My dear lord, the costumes.. so amazing! I am always a sucker for period pieces, but when it is really done right it takes my breath away. So much beautiful lingerie! I highly recommend you all watch it! And so today I broke out my Edwardian whites that I got from Donnaland at the May Brimfield, one of my most treasured items of clothing.

I adore this dress. I am so glad I came across someone who appreciates vintage and 70's aesthetic as much as I do. :)
