lone cowboy

Photobucket

This is a bit of an image heavy post, I try and keep most posts under 8 photos, but I took some cool shots of a sunset I watched today and I just couldn't help it. I worked early this morning, then when I got out I went to hit up the salvo, cause on wednesdays all but one color tag is 1/2 off. Best day to go! What sucks though is that I get paid tomorrow, so I had to keep my spending to a minimum. I got some good stuff for myself and for my shop. Like this cool plaid shirt I'm wearing here. I was wearing something much more girly this afternoon, but once I got home from thrifting and being out in the heat (getting a mini heat wave here, 70s and 80s all week with chance of thunderstorms, except for today) I wanted to just relax and be comfy.

I helped myself to some rum and cherry pepsi's too. I don't drink much, but it felt like summer and so it felt right. Then later when the sun was starting to get low in the sky, I drove out to the spot I went on my birthday back in december to watch the sunset all on my lonesome. I brought a blanket and my book and just relaxed and watched the sun get low. As you can see, it's not the most beautiful of places, it looks like it was a new home development that stopped developing. But it's a high elevation with a good view of the west.

So yea, the button down I got today, the shorts I got at the same salvo a week or so ago. They fit really nice and loose for high waisted shorts, I think they will be quite the staple this summer. The woven leather oxfords I got at Beacon's Closet last year. I came across them on the rack, then as I was walking around the store with them I was asked about three times if I was going to get them, and if not could they have them. Glad I found them first ;)

The pictures are amazing and as for the outfit; the shorts look really good on you and i want those shoes!I have been looking for a pair like those, but unfortunately size 8 is a pretty popular size, so no shoes:( I guess I will have to do some major detective work to find them.
